the celebrity rapture is underway.

i'm in my new apartment.

i had to deal with a lot of anxiety. i don't deal well with big changes.

the apartment's a lot nicer, but a lot smaller. also more expensive. and i really miss my old neighborhood. and it's noisier here. but i have storage here, which i didn't have at my old place, so even with less space, things won't be so cluttered. and it's a brand new building, so everything is new and shiny.

i'm giving most of my old furniture to the salvation army. and the new place has a built-in microwave, so i didn't bring my old one. i had that microwave for 13 years, and it still works fine. i feel so disloyal to my poor microwave.

SO...

i get up and shower and sit and wait until the last minute to get in the car and go to work.

i do as little as i feel i can get away with at work.

i come home and either stare at the computer or at the tv.

i avoid doing things i really ought to do.

i think about the past and how old i feel and how much i've lost and the inevitability of suicide.

i stare at the computer and tv some more.

i go to sleep.

this was found on the back porch of the capitol building in austin on saturday, may 2, at approximately 11pm.

governor perry leaves gatorade bottles filled with his urine around the capitol, allegedly as a sort of "easter egg hunt" for legislators and staff.

analysis of governor perry's urine for drug use and embarrassing medical curiosities is currently underway.

the entire city is covered in smoke from wildfires. the sky is orange.

it's never going to get any better. i've been consistently miserable most of my life. i've been fighting depression for more than 10 years. and it never gets better.

i really don't want to kill myself, but i really don't want to wake up tomorrow.

i'm actually bothering to post this from work.
